Error: Robot failed to register

Dear UR Robot Supporters,
I have a problem when activating the Robot. I followed your tutorial on this link: Universal Robots - Activate. Surprisingly, the file license.p7b not working. It shows the error: Robot failed to register.
How to solve this problem.

Hey, did you ever get this figured out? I’m having the exact same issue at the moment.

I’m having the same issue. I’m trying to get the ToolPath URCap to work but the file I’ve downloaded is not recognized. I’ve tripple checked the serial number on the pendant and the robot sticker.
The robot is running v5.9.

Version 5.9 already an old version of Polyscope 5. I would update to 5.14 and see if that fixes the issue. :slight_smile:

The software update is available to everyone here: UR Download | Support Site | Universal Robots

Just find the right version, download it to a USB drive, and insert it in the robot. Then you can update it from the settings menu. :slight_smile:
