Creating new installation properties / modifying installation file

I am new to URCaps, but is it possible to create additional features/reference frames in the installation file without having to manually use the installation tab? How about renaming an I/O or creating an installation variable?

I am demoing offline software to produce complex movements, such as curve follow for a polishing/cleaning application, and as well as to construct a basic cell layout to show to the customer. I should be able to reduce online programming if I can take advantage of reusing code. However, I would like the end user to be able to be able to modify the feature/reference frames and not just use hard-coded values so features will be needed.

I know it can be done manually, but being able to speed up this task would be wonderful.
