Which communication interface can tell if the UR cobot is in Auto or Manual mode?
there is only a set method with the Dashboard Server Interface for the e-Series. A getter might be useful, otherwise calling the desired mode again would be a workaround?

Yes. It would be useful, if we have get method to know the operational mode (Auto or Manual)
I second that, we would love to know what mode the operator has the robot in, as well as the local or remote mode would be great to have a getter for.
