URSim not behaving as physical cobot

As a newbie I have some questions about how to make URSim simulate as an actual cobot runs.

We have just debugged our URCap until it executes properly on an actual e-series cobot. However now we want to develop it further by using URSim - as we expected no problems running the same URCap the physical cobot accepted while of course building the same code and deploying for ursim. That is not the case! Please help me anyone. I’ll describe my observations here:

  1. During startup, Polyscope gives an errordialog saying: “Could not find the ressource folder”. What am I doing wrong?

  2. It seems I miss a ‘METADATA.IMF’-file. Shoudn’t Maven create that automatically?

  3. Are there anywhere a logfile, where URSim writes down every problem it finds?
