Updating Firmware after Joint Replacement

Hello there,

We had to replace Joint 5 on our UR10e and when trying to start the robot we’re stuck with “Updating Firmware”. Even after several hours there is no progress. Unfortunately, we don’t have a second replacement Joint to try out. Any help or ideas is appreciated.

Polyscope updates contain joint firmware updates as well. If you’re not on the latest software version already, you can update your robot, and the new joint firmware update may go through without errors. If your software version is older than 5.12.6, I would just update to 5.12.6. If you’re already past that, go to the newest 5.17.X software.

If this issue is still present after the software update, you should open a case in myUR and supply a support file from your robot.
