TIA Portal: Module address incorrect

Hello
I’m having some trouble with the setup of an ur10e in TIA v.17.
I have followed the profinet guide: Profinet Guide - 20596

The problem is the I/Q module setup when in device view for the ur10e. It says the addresses of the modules are supposed to start at 0 both in the guide and in TIA, but it states that the address is already taken. I can’t figure out why i cant change the address to 0.

Setup:

Error message
tia problem 1
tia problem 2

I have Profinet configured correctly and the robot responds to pings from the PLC.
Thanks.

I have put a bunch of Siemens PLC’s on UR’s and I do not ever recall changing any of those addresses. I would expect that Input address 0 is already taken by the onboard inputs of the PLC depending on which model you have. Same with the outputs. TIA is assigning the input addresses based on the first available input register and then the size of the module determines how many slots it takes up from the input register addresses. Works the same for the output registers.

When you have multiple robots on the same PLC you will wind up with the second robot registers starting at 508 on the input side and 225 on the output side.
