Issues with Safety Confirmation after Updating to the latest version

Hello fellow UR Users!

I am quite new to the UR Universe so please, dont be too angry if this is the easiest fix in the world.

Im currently working with a UR10e which worked perfectly fine with Version 5.3.1. One of my colleagues told me to update the Robot to the latest version 5.16.1. I followed all the steps from the UR Website (manually updating to 5.5.1 and then updating to the latest version 5.16.1). When i was booting the system, first the error “No controller” occured in the bottom right of the Pendant. This error disappared after a few seconds but then it turns into “Confirming Safety” as you can see in the Picture. I dont know if it has something to do with the payload or something but i can not even turn on the Robot.

Does someone know the solution for that problem or has something similiar after the update?

I would be extremely happy about an answer!

The safety settings are related to the Installation file. Have you tried creating a new Installation before initializing? :slight_smile:
Could be some old safety settings that are not readable by the new version.
