How to do Polyscope X recovery and image reinstallation

I had Polyscope X 10.9 and decided to install the latest update (10.12.1 at that time). I installed it the same way as always.

  1. Download .urup file
  2. Write it to a USB stick
  3. Insert the USB stick into teach pendant
  4. From the teach pendant start software update
  5. Wait

The update finished and the controller started rebooting, but it took much longer than usual. And when it finished booting up I got almost empty screen and no buttons to actually control anything

I don’t know what happened but I need to bring this back to working condition

So my question is what files and folders from the SD card I need to save?

There is this file and similar questions on the forum, but they don’t cover backup procedure for PolyscopeX.

It seems the robot has somehow ended in remote control after updating. Are you able to press the “remote control” icon in the upper right corner to get it back to local control, and then to manual mode?

Thank you! The robot has indeed automatically entered remote control mode. Shame I didn’t notice it myself
