Hello,
I am trying to update the URSoftware of a ur5e from version 5.4 to 5.5. I downloaded the correct file named “update/5.5.1.82186.urup” and put it in a usb device. As I plug it in the teach pendant no file is detected for the update.
Given this problem I investigated a little more and what I got is:
-The same usb device with same files work correctly on another teach pendant of an ur10e.
-As we connect through ssh to the teach pendant and try lsusb the device is not detected.
What can be the issue here?
As nice walkaround I tried to send the .urup file through scp communication but even if the file is in the system it is not seen when searched in the setting>system>update window. Where should the .urup file be located to be seen for the software update?
