I am trying to communicate a S7-1200 1214C PLC with a Universal Robots cobot that I’m emulating in VirtualBox Oracle, the devices “see” each other - I am able to ping the PLC from the virtual machine and I wanted to connect them via PROFINET, just like in the link below.

I’m pretty sure I followed all the steps correctly, set up and uploaded the program to PLC and enabled PROFINET on VM and yet, TIA Portal says that device is “unreachable” and error LED on my PLC is blinking constantly. Any help would be appreciated, it should work just fine as I understand, does the VirtualBox support PROFINET connection?
