Has anyone seen this before?
Yep. If it happens a lot, you may need to replace the TP, the cable, or the safety control board. You can make a case with MyUR and submit the log file to them. They might be able to tell you more.
We had it happen to multiple teach pendants. UR usually fixes them for us. I just wanted to know if anyone experienced this problem before. If anyone knows what causes it and how to prevent it from happening in the future. Thanks.
we recentely had similar problem, it started with few errors in the beginning over few weeks it was very frequent so we bought a refurbished TP from UR distributor.
I am not sure but few months earlier one of the operator dropped the TP since then freedrive button and usb port on TP stopped working and few months later this error started to show up.
Another thing i noticed in our case was that the TP cable which was plugged in the port in the control box was not supported by any bracket, but UR suggests to use P/N: 124600 Support bracket for TP cable Standard
Our cables are supported by brackets with zip ties. So far we have replaced 4 or 5. Don’t really know if the pendants are being dropped because we can have up to 10 running at a time at the most and cant be there to monitor the URs to see if the pendants are being dropped or not. I was just throwing this out there to see what kind of feedback I get. Im sure dropping them would cause damage. But what if they aren’t being dropped? Just asking.
