Sometimes, when I switch on my UR5 , the fan is blowing really hard, noisy, the screen stays black, and nothing happens. What is the problem ?

how old is the UR5? it likely is a hardware issue, maybe faulty PSU

it’s only 5 years old (2021)

Has something been made to the robot before prior to the problem? Have you tried plugging in another screen to see if there is some output from the robot?

  1. No, absolutely nothing hase changed

  2. Non I did not try to plug “another screen”, I just have the teach pendant, and nothing else
