Slow down Wrist 3 only

We need to replace Wrist 3 on one of our robots, but it will be a few days before we receive the part. In the meantime, running at 33% on the speed slider is keeping us going.
I was thinking that only that joint needs to run slow - can I set that one joint to a slower max speed using the safety configuration, or will that just error out if it tries to exceed that value?
