Simulator crashes - Canvas3d_createNewContext - 3d acceleration

Hello, I am running UR5.0 simulator on my linux box and am seeing the simulator crash when I go to the move tab.
The simulator fails with the error message
Canvas3d_createNewContext: couldn’t create context.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I had the same happening when running it in a virtual box. After enabling 3d-acceleration the problem went away.

Thanks! That was the issue. When I run it in a chrome remote desktop I see crashes. No issues running on the desktop.

Could also be related to lack of RAM assigned to the Virtual Machine.
