My UR5 robot went into recovery mode I have moved it into safe space but cannot get back into normal run mode?
I have the same issue - anyone have an idea to fix it - or do I have to reboot the robot?
If you’re in Recovery mode, that typically means that the robot is in a state where it’s not complying with some safety setting that has been enabled. The most common one is that the end of the arm is past a safety plane, but others exist as well.
Yes indeed - that is what happened - a coworker of mine was trying ti insert some new safety settings - the problem is however the arm is now moved out - but there seems to be a setting somewhere that still keeps it in recovery mode. Do I need to reboot the entire system or is there a smarter way to force it out of recovery mode so that I can come back in and modify the safety?
When you enter Recovery mode the Move screen should pop up. Jog the robot back onto the “right” side of your safety plane and you should go back to normal. Rebooting won’t have an effect on the mode.
