I would like to have 2 separate devices have the opportunity to trigger reduced mode in my system. After I have configured the first configurable input for “Reduced Mode” the safety settings page will not allow another configurable input to select “Reduced Mode” without unselecting the one I originally set. Do I have to set up a dual input, dual channel relay and only use one set of configurable inputs?
Yes, you will either need to use a safety relay to accomplish this or a safety controller such as the Banner XS26 system which is what we use on all of our robots as we can configure many zones of safety and have it trigger the correct response.
