Need URSim 5.16.0 for compatibility with robot running Polyscope 5.16

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working with a UR robot that runs Polyscope 5.16.0.
On my PC I have URSim 5.12.6 (the version included with the standard simulator package) and the newest available download from the UR website seems to be URSim 5.23.

Here’s my problem:

  • Programs created on the robot (Polyscope 5.16) cannot be opened in URSim 5.12, which makes sense because it’s an older version.

  • However, if I use URSim 5.23, any programs I create there cannot be loaded back onto the robot since 5.23 files aren’t backward compatible with 5.16.

So I’m stuck in between versions. :sweat_smile:

My questions:

  1. Is there any official or archived download link for URSim 5.16.0 (or any 5.16.x build)?

  2. If not, is there a recommended way to make a .urp project from 5.23 compatible with Polyscope 5.16?

I’d really appreciate any advice or a pointer to where I can get the matching URSim 5.16 image

Is there a reason not to update the robot to 5.23 or even 5.24 (since that’s the newest)? That’d be the first thing UR would have you do in the event that it needs some kind of service anyway
