MoveAbsJ equivalent in URscript

Hi

Is there a command or workaround to this ABB MoveAbsJ? Need this for 7th axis. Thanks.

Hi,

how do you integrate UR with 7th axis?

there is movej command to controller the 6 axes in UR robot. but no command for 7th axis for logic 7th axis.

UR now have Motion Plus, which can be applied for EtherCAT driven motor, with which motor can be controlled directly by UR script. if you are interested, it is suggested to contact with local UR organization

Thanks for your response. We are aware and have seen the demo of the ethercat 7th axis in set up by local UR. We have the MotionPlus doc.

There is a potential customer who has a process which might require this external 7axis. Robotmaster is able to generate the script code for ABB 7th axis. Not sure if it can do for UR with 7th axis.

Great. but I have no idea if Robotmaster can generate the script code…

here is the online doc for motion plus, some examples are listed. by the way, there are some example URCAPS to configure and run motion plus in TP’s GUI, which made it easier to depoly the external axis.
