Could you guide me to make a migration from an e series robot to a cb3 series, please? (They are UR5)
I would like to know if there is a procedure already defined or there is a set of instructions to avoid bad practices (I did not find something similar to this in the support site). Or if not, I would like to know if this type of migration can not be done.
I dont think it’s possible. CB3 is an older version than e-series. Going backwards has always been problematic, since programs and installation files have been altered to newer versions when opened in a newer PolyScope, and there are no protocols in the system on how to convert the program “backwards”.
EDIT: That being said. I highly doubt you can use the installation file, but you might be able to open the program file (.urp). Simply save it on a USB and open it on the CB3 robot.
It’s worth a try at least. 
As soon as I have the opportunity, let me try it by doing it manually with magic files and then I update this.
