How do i turn on the robot after turning on the robot controller with my computer?

Is there a way to do this without using the teach pendant?

I am trying to have the robot run python scripts. I can turn the robot controller on using the computer and the remote control feature. However, I dont know how to turn on the robot itself.

Once my robot controller is on, I am able to ping the network switch that the robot controller and my computer are connected to.

Hmmm without using the pendent you will likely have to utilize the dashboard server to send the robot commands. You can use the Socket Test application to send these from your PC.
