Im currently working on communicating our cobot into our siemens PLC S7-1200 via profinet. Followed the instructions provided online but wont be able to establish comm so I was thinking maybe i used the wrong GSD version. Been looking for an older version of GSD but i cant find anything aside from the currently available on the website which is 2.42. Can anyone from help me on this? Provide the link for other versions of GSD which is compatible with URSoftware 3.7.0.40195 or maybe a suggestion on how to make it work. Thanks in advance!

I highly doubt the GSD is your culprit.
I have seen many people have issues with the switch they’re using. So maybe try another switch - or a direct connection between robot and PLC.
Make sure the UR controller node in your TIA portal hardware configuration has the correct device name and IP address as the robot Profinet configuration. You should be able to browse online devices and change the name and IP address that way.
