Change the prefix "Waypoint_" when teaching new positions

Is there a way to change the “Waypoint_” prefix to different characters? Currently when adding a new waypoint on the teach pendant, the auto-generated name is “Waypoint_1”, “Waypoint_2”, etc. where the index automatically increments. We would like to change this to “P1”, “P2”, “P3”, etc. still having auto-incrementing indexes but with “P” as prefix.


It’s not possible. You can work around it by adding “Waypoint_xx” and then doing global rename on uncompressed urp program file.

This was one of the very first things I noticed while setting up my UR. Just adding it to the Move parameters would make it so much better.

Maybe there even is a URCap doing something similar.
