URSim screen flickering issue

Hello,
I am running URSim using Oracle Virtual box. The robotic arm visualization screen on the software keeps flickering with black bars as shown here,

I’ve tried changing the video memory allocation and graphics controller on the VirtualBox manager but have had no success. How can I reduce or remove the flickering?

I recommend that you use VMware Pro Station to use the VM. It’s direct.

Thank you for your response. I installed VMware Workstation Pro as you suggested but now I have trouble connected URSim to the network.

Can you post a photo with the Network settings?
I can see that the VM network is bridged but there are some other settings there that have to be made.
Vm ware can be tricky sometimes to set up the network.

On the VMware try to tick that box where it says replicate physical network
Then get the IP of the OS where the UR is running and try to ping it from your host OS

I tried the steps you mentioned and pinged the IP on the host OS, this is what I get,

The network connection on URSim remains disabled, how can I proceed further?

If that’s your IP for the ur sim then the network is established
For testing use the program socket test and put your ip address and port 29999 and see if you can connect
If you can connect that’s it, you’re done. Nothing to set up in the polyscope. Leave it on dhcp
