UR5e not able to assign IP over Profinet TIA-portal V18

I can’t assign the IP adress of my UR5e in TIA portal. The way I am doing it is the following.

  1. Enable Profinet in Installation > Fieldbus
  2. Open TIA on computer on the same network
  3. Scan online devices
  4. I find the UR5e with it’s MAC-adress
  5. Go in to online and diagnostics
  6. Hit functions
  7. Able to change the name, but not the IP and the MAC-adress field is not changeable

Am I missing something?

If it is, you might have to go to Device Configuration instead and change the UR IP from there. That should work.

I found the issue at last. In order to set IP adresses through TIA portal, the TIA portal must be run as administrator. Otherwise it is not possible.
