! Remember to define a tool

I recently updated robot software to 5.22.2 which seemed to erase all my installation variables. Having recreated the palletizing variables I still have a warning under the Installation tab/Safety/Tool Position that states: ! Remember to define a tool. How do I do that? Thanks for any help here!

Just click Add Tool or whatever it says. Then it’ll create a new line and you don’t have to do anything else. :slight_smile: It won’t affect anything really, either.

But what it’s encouraging you to do is to make a sphere which represents the mounted tool, so that the robot will react properly to safety planes etc.

Remember to use an FTP client to back up your programs, scripts and installation variables.

Or simply insert a USB drive and go to the programs window and click the Backup to USB button. :slight_smile:
