Problem During actuation of brake solenoid (UR10 CB2 - Shoulder joint)

Hallo,

Brake solenoid of my ur10 - shoulder joint cb2 series was dead…so I replaced it with working one but after that during initialization/starting of robot, solenoid is not actuating automatically. but when I press down the solenoid plunger once manually after powering on the robot, than it stays down and robot and its joint works fine.

What can be the possible problem?

I have replaced the dead solenoid with ur5 elbow joint (I had in spare).

Did you test the old solenoid on its own? Could be the solenoid driver.

Yes I checked the old solenoid… it was not working, with and without mounting (freely). I also checked the output voltage at the connector…everything seems okay to me.
