PolyscopeX: UR5e suddenly shuts down every time "play" is pressed in AI Accelerator's Pick&Place demo

Hello everyone.

I am studying how to use the AI Accelerator. In the UR manual there is a section to run a Demo of the Pick&Place application, and I am trying it out. After setting everything up according to the instructions, I pressed “play” to run it, but the robot suddenly lost power.

Checked the robot log, I didn’t find any errors:

This was my terminal at that time:

Other imformation:

  • PolyscopeX version: 10.7.0
  • The program is copied from AI Accelerator.

Could you try to make program that moves robot using polyscope UI programming, to verify if it’s not a hardware issue with an arm.

I tried to make a program with some waypoint and it ran normal. Is the cause of version 10.7? I am planning to downgrade to version 10.6 but I can’t find image of that version

PolyScope X was introduced with version 10.7. There’s no earlier version of PolyScope X.

Hmm… I remeber when I bought a UR5e CB5.6, the version of the control box was 10.6 (without Halt, Timer, Swith, … command). Then I update to 10.7. So I think there will be version 10.6.

I think it might have had too many bugs for them to have a release officially available.

Hello!
This is due to a bug in 10.7, and downgrading to 10.6 will fix it.
If you join the AI Accelerator program in centercode, you will be able to find a 10.6 image until 10.7.1 or 10.8 releases with a fix for this.
I’d recommend you report any further problems with the AI Accelerator channel on Discord which we are monitoring more closely.
