OEM control box teach pendant connector - not mini DP

Hello everyone

On the OEM CONTROL BOX INSTALLATION GUIDE - ENGLISH - E-SERIES (page14) it states that the teach pendant connector in a mini DisplayPort connector but this is not the case. I have purchased a mini DisplayPort extension cable but it does not fit the teach pendant connector on the OEM control box (the difference in connector shape is significant).

could anyone tell me what is the teach pendant connection type on the OEM control box?
Also this matter should be mended on the OEM control box installation guide.

Mini DisplayPort is used to connect an external display. The connector is located next to the fuse.

Check the wording again. there is a teach pendant port, AND a mini display port.

The pendant port appears to be a proprietary port and not one you be able to extend

@WattsUp - Agreed. That teach pendant connector has a corner beveled, much like the regular size DisplayPort type connector. Maybe UR can elaborate.

It’s sort of an old thread you have replied to, Tony. :slight_smile:

But the plug is a Hirose IX40G-B-10S-CV or IX40G-A-10S-CV. I honestly don’t remember if it’s A or B type (side of bevel).
