Ladder Logic Program

All,

I am new to the UR scene. I am looking for help starting to write a program on a 1769 L16ER BB PLC that will control the UR with a keyence IV camera attached to scan a part then return to home. I have communication from the UR to the plc and same for the keyence system. I am struggling to figure how the bit registers get inputted to the plc and how the plc will control the movement of the robot. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
