Idle energy consumption and UR Sim energy consumption information

What is the idle energy consumption of the UR robots? I am particularly interested in the UR10e model. According to the datasheet, the average energy consumption is 350 W, with a maximum of 615 W.

Based on some publications I have read, I would estimate the idle energy consumption to be around 50 W?

Does the Offline Simulator UR Sim VM provide energy consumption information when controlled via RTDE using Matlab/Simulink?

It depends hugely on the setup. How much payload is the robot moving, have you increased acceleration, how much must each joint work, how much wait time etc.

If you’re moving at standard speeds with no payload, you won’t be seeing much more than 50W, I reckon.

I don’t believe the offline simulator will help you in this regard.
