Help with Simulating Robotiq 2F-140 Gripper in URSim and Visual Components

This is my first post here, so please forgive me if I accidentally break any rules.

I am currently experimenting with URSim and Visual Components for educational purposes. I am a beginner in robot programming but have gained some initial experience with a real UR5e and Robotiq Gripper in the university.

I can successfully control the UR5e in Visual Components via URSim using the RTDE interface. However, I am now trying to control a Robotiq 2F-140 Gripper through URSim, but it is not working yet. I have already installed the URCap, but the gripper is not being detected.

I suspect that I might need to add a variable in Visual Components, similar to what I did for the UR5e, but I am unsure which one to connect. Alternatively, it could be another issue entirely.

As mentioned, controlling the UR5e itself works without any problems. Has anyone here successfully simulated a Robotiq Gripper with the URCap in URSim? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My Setup:

Windows 10 Pro

Visual Components 4.8 Premium

URSim via VirtualBox (Polyscope 5.19)
