Force Control and Multipath behavior not as expected

I am attempting to use a UR16 to hold a part and use force control and multipath to make contact and spin the part 360 degrees using the multipath. At a certain moment, the part loses contact with the external tool, so I have been attempting to update the parameters to prevent that from occurring but have not been successful. What should I do?
