I just installed VirtualBox and the ubuntu 64 system, this is working fine.
I attempted to download the URCaps Starter Package sever times and got download errors each time. I also attempted to connect via the Universal Robots FTP site per the directions and the connection timed out. I quit after a few attempts.
Any advice is appreciated.

I solved the problem. Apparently the package needs to be downloaded to the host and opened in the virtual machine.
