Is it possible for any emergency stop signal to remain high when in the Emergency Stop state?
We had a request to have an indicator light turn red when an Emergency Stop occurs. It seems that I will need a separate 24V power supply to supply this function. This particular application is simple with only the end-effector actuating and no external components. Adding an external power supply and ultimately a power strip to what is otherwise a mobile cart is a bit inconvenient, so I’m curious if there are any simple solutions for this function.
Use a normally closed relay with the light, it will be off when the output is high but turn the light on when the output goes low. You can power the lamp with the 24V from the robot
