Hi all.
We have just got started with a UR10 in the last two weeks so very new at this. I am wanting to use the Cobot to hold a mobile phone and scan around an object from three different view points. Is this possible and which commands might I use?
Thanks for any help.
I would advise you to go do the free e-training offered by Universal Robots if that’s all you want to do.
Move to a waypoint, make a popup that asks if the image has been taken, then move to the next etc.
Maybe I didn’t explain enough.
With a phone set to video I want the arm to move around an object in one continuous circle at point one, from above looking down, point 2 from the middle and point 3 from below looking up.
You can make a circular movement with a MoveP.

@efn is spot on. Start with the free e-learning: e-Series e-Learning
It’s a series of online modules that walk you through the basics of how to use the robot. You’re essentially asking “How do I perform a circle” which is basic enough that you would benefit from the e-learning. Otherwise, as efn also states, you can add a MoveP instruction, and then at the bottom you can add a MoveC.
