I have a UR5e with a Keyence Laser Micrometer (LS-9120) and I am trying to wire a timing input for the controller so the robot can trigger when to take the measurement but I can’t seem to get the robot to trigger.
attached is the wiring diagram/instructions I received from Keyence:
- COM(+) from the robot → 24v from the power supply.
- 0v from the power supply → COM_IN on the LS controller
- TIM1 on the LS controller → OUT from the robot
and this is how I currently have it wired:
I have also tried wiring the COMMON(+) to the 0v above DO0 but have not been successful either.
Where is COMMON(+) on the robots controller?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
