Yes user reference are possible. Under installation tab, features. The URacademy training has a section on that
The simulation software is a Virtual machine clone of the controller cabinet.

So you get the same interface as the pendant, but its not a simulator in the way of some other brands where you have a 3d representation of the robot that you can model your installation. For that you would need a 3rd part simulation like RoboDK or similar.
