If the robot comes without teaching pendant, how can one figure out the type of network setup (E.g. static, DHCP or not connected)? How can we change it? Are there any differences in E- and CB- series?
You can connect a display to the controller and a computer mouse to navigate and change settings on the system if needed. Check out this User manuals to find out more on where these connections are. Here is the E-Series Controller:
So just to confirm my understanding. There are no ways to change network setup type without the use of GUI?
I don’t believe there currently is. There may be some workarounds in use, but I am not familiar with any. Maybe someone else has other suggestions on the boards.
