how do you want to define the path? what action is the robot supposed to execute?
We make cakes and I would like to be able to make a drawing and have the robot execute it.
OK but HOW do you want to make the robot follow it? It doesn’t have eye balls. Are you wanting to use some kind of vision system? Are you wanting to go from a CAD drawing to program (this would be called CAD-to-path, or sometimes offline programing), or do you simply want to lay your drawing on the cake like a stencil and just teach the robot the moves by hand?
