Change console keyboard from Danish

Just had to run some commands from the console and ran into the Danish keyboard mapping issue - fortunately I anticipated this and had a cheat sheet with the Danish layout.
I’ve remapped the keyboard in the past on another system, following these instructions:

Changing the console keyboard layout - 16421

I recall that the options listed in the instructions were a bit different than what actually popped up on screen, but I got through it without much difficulty back then.
This time I went through the options (too many), get through what I believe is the last question (use ctrl-alt-bs to terminate the X server?), hit enter, and get this error message:

warning: start and stop actions are no longer supported; failing back to defaults.

I had just upgraded to the latest Polyscope, V5.21.2.

What’s changed?

I know this doesn’t directly answer your question on what changed, but if you are tired of using the cheat sheet I found this little command useful. I use the command loadkeys us to load the US keyboard. You have to enter the command in each session, but it is a quick little fix that seems to work well.

Thanks!

For the very few times we need to use the console, that’s probably the easiest way to deal with it.
