I am about to complete my training as a mechatronics technician and am currently planning my company order. My company is currently automating the deburring of cast resin parts with a UR10e. This creates a lot of fine dust and the existing extraction system from below is not sufficient. I am currently designing an extraction system that will be located directly on the spindle, i.e. as close as possible to the deburring tool. This should then move up and down automatically on a rail as there are many different cast resin parts and a fixed extraction system would be in the way for some parts. I have already contacted support and asked a contact person to find a compatible extraction system. The whole thing should then probably be “connected” to an Arduino as a communication interface so that the suction unit knows when it should move up or down on the rail. Unfortunately I have not found anything in the UR catalog, so if anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful. I would also be pleased to hear any other ideas or suggestions for the project.
