We are working on a project and a collaborator has asked what happens to the robot if there is a loss in power. Rather than testing that out, I just wanted to ask on here what negative impacts a loss of power has?

If power drops while robot is moving, it will ask to confirm position on power up.
If power drops when home it might ask to confirm position.
The UR draws so little power that you can run it off a standard UPS backup. If you find one with an alarm output, you can even use that as an input to the UR to safely shutdown.
