Universal Robot connection with Gocator Scanner

Hi,

Can anyone guide me on establishing communication between UR robot and Gocator Scanner through socket connection such that the scanner is triggered via python and the captured image is saved as a file?

on the robot? or and external pc thats the middle man between the two?
