Robot boots into a Fault

I am currently using a UR15 running PolyScope version 5.26. I do not have a teach pendant connected; I am using an external 3-position enabling switch instead.

When I power on the robot while it is in Remote Mode, it starts in a faulted state. After I reset the fault, everything works normally.

If I restart the robot without fully powering it off, it boots normally. The issue only occurs after the robot has been completely powered off and then powered back on.

There are no errors shown on the Log screen. I also pulled the log_history.txt file and reviewed it using the Log Viewer, but there is no fault recorded there either.

To rule out an issue with my program or installation, I created and tested a blank program with a blank installation file, but the issue still occurred.

I then re-imaged the SD card and reverted the robot to PolyScope version 5.25.2. After restoring my backed-up files, the robot booted normally and no longer started in the faulted state.

Based on this testing, the issue appears to be specific to PolyScope version 5.26.

Hi,

That is strange! Is there a fault popup or anything? If you can provide the flight report or the log_history.txt, we can maybe see what it is. It is not intended that anything that works in SW 5.25 would fail or behave differently in SW 5.26.

There is no popup or anything. just says fault.

Here is the log_history i pulled from the robot.

Thanks for looking into this.

You are right, there is no sign of any error in the logs… The system is booted and the robot arm is ready to be powered on.
We are soon releasing SW 5.26.2 It may be that the issue is resolved there, otherwise, let us know
