Which port in the control box should be used to complete a circuit from a foot pedal
Without any additional information, I’m guessing you’re trying to send some input to the robot from the foot pedal, which should just be the same as closing a set of contacts. In which case you want to wire one side of the pedal to 24V and the other to whatever input you want.
Thanks for your reply. I will try to do a better explanation. I am looking for the possibility to replace the foot pedal for a dispenser with a connection to the cotrolbox. Alternativ the Robot can touch the foot pedal and start the dispencer but an electronic solution is one movement less.
I would just take apart the foot pedal and see how it’s wired. I would imagine it is still just contact closure. If this is the case, you can simply remove the wires from the foot pedal and connect them to a simple relay. Then use a robot output to turn the relay on/off and you’re done
Even better you could just wire the relay in parallel to the foot pedel and keep the functionality if you need to have a manual backup process.
