Hi I’m having an issue with a cobot we use to push down a cap, I have new cap thats stiffer and I get protective stops in the program. how can i get round it?

Did you check the safety limitation in the installation tab ? You can increase the force the robot can handle before going to protective stop.
If you do that, please be sure there is no safety danger regarding the personnel around.
its set at 100N, what could I increase it to safely ?
I don’t know your application so its hard to say, try gradually 5 by 5. Just to let you know, if your application has been validate by a security organization, modifiy this parameter is a modification to the safety, so it should be verify again.
