Hello,
I have an Omega soldering controller that should use ModBus but I can’t read or write from/to it. I know the ip addresses are setup correctly, I can connect to it through my laptop and their software, the robot has a similarly compatible IP address, the slave address should be correct too. The controller is set for Lan vs IO or Com. But I get an E4 error, or an E1 but that’s if the Type is set to something other than what I’d expect it should be.
I have used ModBus before but only a little bit.
Is this not standard ModBus? Do I have to go to scripting? Any help is appreciated.

The picture shows the address for receiving the mac address though I have the name is wrong/set from before with other addresses.
