Minimal project with ethernet Connection and python interface for UR10

Everything that I send you only requires to connect your laptop to the robot with an Ethernet cable, you will the network logo on the robot controller showing where the Ethernet port is. So something like:

Laptop Ethernet port -> Ethernet cable <- Controller Ethernet port

Only thing to do afterwards is to setup the IP addresses on both your computer and the controller box.

I would setup the IP addresses the same as one of the provided examples.
