UR Forum Content Policy
The UR Forum is a place for robot enthusiasts of all skill levels to connect, empower, ask questions, share, and learn.
While the UR Forum was created by UR+ and our admins are UR employees, the vast majority of the content is created by you, the UR Forum user. We couldn’t do this without you, and to ensure we are able to grow this community we ask that you become familiar with our rules and the rest of the content on this page.
Below the rules governing the forum conversations are the platform-wide rules that apply to everyone on the UR Forum. These rules are enforced by us, the admins.
The UR Forum is only what we make of it together, and can only exist if we operate by a shared set of rules. We ask that you abide by not just the letter of these rules, but the spirit as well.
Rule 1
Remember the human. This is a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking. Everyone has a right to use the UR Forum free of harassment and bullying. Users who engage in these types of activity will be banned.
Rule 2
Respect the privacy and property of others. Never post content that is not yours without that person or company’s consent.
Rule 3
Ensure people can find relevant content on the UR Forum by properly titling and tagging your posts. Additionally, include relevant details such as robot models, PolyScope version, part numbers, etc.
Rule 4
Don’t do anything that interferes with normal use of the UR Forum.
Service Support
All equipment can break down from time to time. This forum is not the place to start a discussion about service support related to your robot. The best way to get fast service support is:
- Contact your local distributor
- Visit the myUR Customer Portal here: https://myur.universal-robots.com/
We will moderate and remove content that is best addressed by our service professionals through a support ticket.
Admin Enforcement
We have a variety of ways of enforcing our rules, including, but not limited to:
- Asking you nicely to knock it off
- Asking you less nicely
- Temporary or permanent suspension of accounts
- Removal of privileges from, or adding restrictions to, accounts
- Removal of content
User Enforcement
You may periodically see content that you think does not belong. We ask that you kindly posts for an admin to review.
