# Urupdate failing due to "downgrade version"

Trying to upgrade our UR10 incrementally from 5.12.5 to the latest. 5.12.7 installed successfully, however trying to install 5.12.8 - it does not get recognized via the UR pendent as a valid update.

SSH into the robot - run this

```auto
root@ur-20225204014:/media/urmountpoint_231NPO# urupdate --verify-requirements update-5.13.0-build11.3.898.urup Downgrading below 5.26 is not possible!

```

UR pendant is at 5.12.7 so not sure what’s up with this.

version of urupdate is 1.2.5

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but I don’t think you need to go incrementally? I think you can just jump straight to the latest. You only had to do incremental updates if you were like 5.5.0 or less.

Understood → the concerning thing though is the error on Downgrading below 5.26 is not possible.

Any update that we try is failing (even the latest 5.25.2) and 5.26 is not presently out.
